DMX started rapping in the middle of the 1990s. In May 1998 the rapper released his debut album, It's Dark and HOT. The other albums he released were... and There was X, the Great Depression Year of the Dog... and then there was x, the Great Depression Year of the Dog... The Redemption of the Beast Gran Champ and Flesh of Blood Flesh. The album titled...And Then Was X was nominated by the Grammy award for Best Rap Album in 2001. His musical career was complemented with appearances in films such as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five - Exit Wounded, Never Die Alone The Bleeding Romeo must die Backstage - Beyond the Law Lockjaw - Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
